Gerald W. Reinert, Vice President Asset Management joined Kensington in June of 1996 as Asset Manager for multifamily properties. He has oversight reponsibility for all non-accounting related property operations including day-to-day communication with managing agent corporate and site staff, the generation of quarterly investor reports and annual asset management plans and review of all capital expenditure programs, as well as assisting in the acquisition and disposition process. Prior to joining Kensington, Mr. Reinert was associated with JMB Properties/Heitman Properties Ltd. for seven years as a Vice President and Area Manager in charge of Midwest apartment properties and a portfolio of congregate care retirement properties. Prior to JMB/Heitman, he was a Regional Asset Manager for six years with First Chicago Investment Advisors where he was responsible for apartment, retirement, office, industrial and retail properties in the Midwest. Mr. Reinert began his career in the Chicago office building industry and has been involved in real estate in the Chicago and Midwest markets for thirty years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northern Illinois University.
